The story

Karès Blan is a radiant and solar musky-floral extrait. Sparkling bergamot, enhanced by powdery almond and luminous aldehydes, entwines around a cotton-soft white heart of orange blossom, white flowers, and lily of the valley, before plunging into a soft, milky base of musk and vanilla — a sensorial visit to the Seychelles, elegant, luminous, and caressing.

Here the crossing begins.

La Digue, high noon

The island

La Digue, high noon

Sometimes leaving means seeking the light. At noon, La Digue is a brightness more than a place: blond sand, warm rocks, dazzling water. Everything is white, calm, exact — a suspended port of call the bottle keeps for you alone.

The hours

From noon to evening

The first hour

Bergamot sparkles first, bright as a burst of noon — almond softens it at once, aldehydes make it shimmer. The embarkation is luminous, almost effervescent.

The full hours

Then the light becomes flower: orange blossom opens, white flowers and lily of the valley weave a cottony heart — the perfume settles like fresh linen on sun-warmed skin.

The deep hours

At last musk and vanilla take over, milky and caressing: high noon lingers into the evening. Twenty-five percent extrait — the port of call lasts more than ten hours, and never weighs.

The signature

“Karès Blan captures the white caress of the Seychelles — where orange blossom and lily of the valley entwine the coco de mer beneath the milky veil of musk and vanilla.”

Guillaume Cresp composed it in Grasse and let it macerate without haste, into an extrait concentrated at 25% — a white confidence that lasts more than ten hours on skin. Such a journey is earned: it took the time of the great crossings. For those who love luminous florals on a caressing musky base — a discreet escape, from every day to exceptional evenings.

For the one who steps into the light without ever demanding it.

The birth

Six juices, three variations each: eighteen proposals born of the same brief, entrusted to the nose by two devotees of niche perfumery. The house rule is final — a perfume must win at first encounter, stir an immediate emotion, or disappear. There is no second try.

Three references survived. Karès Blan won them both — high noon between their two hours.

Two years of work, bottles designed within the house, filling done by their own hands: the crossing you hold was earned.

The object

Glass lacquered in ivory, full and matte like the light of noon. A cap sealed in gold, signed with a line — the line that joins the three islands. The 50 ml bottle is a limited edition of 300: a confidential port of call, reserved for a few.

The ritual

The gesture

Two to three sprays are enough — the extrait is concentrated at 25%. Fifteen to twenty centimetres from the skin, on the warm points: the hollow of the neck, behind the ear, the wrists — never rubbed, rubbing breaks the top notes. Skin first; fabric after, as a veil.

The curve

The first 30 minutes
Bergamot sparkles, almond softens — the brightness of departure.
Around hour 4
The white heart settles — orange blossom, lily of the valley — the perfume becomes linen.
Hour 8 and beyond
Musk and vanilla — the caress that stays, into the evening.

The wardrobe

Made for the light: linen and cotton on full days. In winter, it warms the collar with a discreet veil — try first on delicate fabrics.

The next journey

A journey is earned. This one took the nose's work in Grasse, the patience of maceration, lacquer laid on glass, gold sealed at the crown — nothing here is hurried. Even the 50 ml bottle is worth the wait: that is the price of true departures.

AB Signature Paris creates only rare pieces, in limited edition. Three hundred bottles, then the island drifts away — and another already rises on the horizon. Desire is reborn, discovery begins again: like our next journeys.

Some noons never return.
